No Hopers

    After a relatively poor Giro…I was thinking how difficult (or easy) would it be to pick a team of “no-hopers”
    e.g. for the Tour de France pick a purist team that that scores the fewest points
    But you have to use up all of the available credit (or leave less than 5)
    (no 3.0 riders throughout!)

    That’s pretty high.. and pretty specific… It seems like it might like some time to search for a rider set that fits that budget… I was hoping you’d go with a lower budget… really (!) low… so it’s not that restrictive and not a lot of calculations to fit the riders in… maybe like the old Pick 3 Riders format… with no budget set… That way people could pick 3 3.0 riders… Of course, first come first serve with no repeat teams…

    NO HOPERS FORUM COMPETITION
    Purist competition
    Pick 5 cyclists
    Total team value must be between 78 and 80 points
    Score as few points as possible.
    All riders must be on the start on Saturday

    Post your riders below and I’ll summarise

    Nice! I’m in… Can we go for the 50 or so points, though, or 75?… :W Or is the 90 ~ 100 an upper max as in a limit you cannot go over as opposed to a minimum you must meet?… :/

    How about – TdF competition –
    How about – TdF competition – Purist format
    And picking 5 riders with a 90~100 point budget
    (fixed once the rider list is published)

    And running the game through the forum
    (so it does not destroy anyone’s official Fantasy reputation) 😉

    I like the idea, but i am doing my best to climb the rankings (missed 5-6 races in the start of the season). Wouldn’t want to sabotage that deliberately B-)

    I’m in, but I’d like to see a smaller budget, maybe like the 3 Italians competition, of 50 points to force you to go with several 3.0 riders and something like 2 or 3 15 to 20 credit riders… good idea! 🙂 I’m aiming to win this one! 🙂 Thanks! 🙂
