Been feeling the need to spread the news, particularly in the light of recent not-nice things making the headlines:
This morning on my ride to work from Kingston Upon Thames, through Richmond Park, (going down the dreaded Priory Lane!), Barnes, Hammersmith, Kensington, Hyde Park, Mayfair and finishing near Oxford Circus…
1. A white van driver was considerate and made room for me
2. A bus driver let me into a traffic queue
3. A pedestrian stepped into the road (face glued to phone) in front of me, saw me last minute, stepped back and sorry
4. A black cab driver let me in front of him when making the perilous crossing of Park Lane
5. I said thank you to all these peopleThe most shocking thing about this ride to work, is, that this stuff does happen, quite often!
