…does anybody have any experiences to offer about these?
– How well do the aluminium ones do in the comfort department as compared to the carbon models?
– Tyre clearance on the disc brake models, any ideas?The aluminium DX-4400 looks tempting. However, paved roads around here are not always in top condition, and also I don’t always stay on them. So I’m looking for something that takes big tyres and has a surface-smoothing frame.
My current road bike is an old Italian racer. The frame is comfortable in its own way, but the ride position is very aggressive. Something more relaxed will hopefully see more use.
