Bag which doesn’t interfere with my helmet – recommendation needed

    HI All,
Despite the title I’m seeking some recommendations to help my cycling. I have two rucksacks, both supposedly “cycling friendly” (Deuter Cross Air and NorthFace Hammerhead) but both interefere with my cycling helmet when they have straps done up and are in a comfortable position. I find myself having to slacken off the straps so that the top of the bag doesnt push the helmet forward.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a small rucksack for commuting which sits low enough on the back not to contact the helmet?

    I’ve got an Osprey Momentum
I’ve got an Osprey Momentum that I’ve had no problems with, but I think this is going to be a very personal thing- you might spend a lot more time a lot lower than me. You could look at Wingnut if you want something that sits really low- I’ve no personal experience of their stuff though.
Maybe a seatpost-mounted rack if you’re not going to be carrying too much stuff?

    Or lose the plastic hat.

Easier said than done with a frame without rack eyelets. Rucksack makes it sound bigger than it needs to be – it only needs to carry clothes for the work day. đŸ˜€
