Having looked at the startlist again this morning and seeing that neither Lance Armstrong nor Michele Ferrari are racing, I’ve taken them out of my team for today.

    ALEJANDRO VALVERDE (MOV)
    DANIEL MARTIN (TCG)
    MAURITS LAMMERTINK (ROO)
    SERGIO LUIS HENAO (SKY)
    MICHAL KWIATKOWSKI (EQS)
    JOAQUIN RODRIGUEZ (KAT)
    THOMAS SPRENGERS (TSV)
    MICHAEL VALGREN ANDERSEN (TSB)

Only got 1 transfer left now but don’t think I’ll want to change too much from the above anyway.

I think a lot of people are hoping that Martin and Gilbert will be back on Sunday. I certainly do. Still managed to get 100 points though. Not too bad with my 5 transfers left!

Gilbert appears to have been taken down when the peloton compressed to avoid cars parked on the roadside. The Belgian has realised that he has no hope of regaining contact and, with Liege-Bastogne-Liege in mind, he has abandoned Fleche Wallonne.

    Purito, Valverde, Yates, G.
Purito, Valverde, Yates, G. Caruso, Rolland, Vanendert, Henao, D Mart.

If Yates, Caruso and Rolland score more in total than Phil Gil does then this was a plan worth taking
