Compatibility issues 11speed campag cranks and 10 speed everything else

    Hi all

    I have 10 speed Centaur on one of my bikes, and the option of a set of 11 speed cranks. Is there any issue with that, like the front shifter pinging the chain too far / not far enough? Or a 10sp chain falling off / slipping / etc? I would have thought it should be OK, but any experience welcomed.

    I run Shimano 6700 10s
    I run Shimano 6700 10s Ultegra on 6800 11s Ultegra Chainset with no problems at all. The front shift is brilliant. I assume that a similar Campag setup will also work just as well.

    Nah, pretty certain it will
    Nah, pretty certain it will be 100% fine, 11 speed just means the rings are a fraction thinner but ibv this won’t affect the 10 speed chain….
