A friend I follow on Strava generally posts some pretty epic, hilly / fast rides. He’s always been a touch boastful of his cycling which I’ve generally ignored. However, lately he seems to have stepped up a gear and is bragging more and more of his accomplishments. In my mind bragging about Strava accomplishments is the equivalent of a TOWIE actor posing for photos on the red carpet at the BAFTA Awards; in the real world you’ve accomplished nothing! This is Strava, not the UCI!
On top of this he’s now posting every single piece of exercise he does. Four rides yesterday, longest ride = 6km. Last week he posted a 1hour swim. FFS!My question is: How should I unfollow? Should I be courteous and send my best wishes explaining politely why I’m unfollowing, or merely disappear like a thief in the night?

I should have made it more clear that this piece was intended to be light hearted and not to be taken too seriously. The athlete in question is a friend I’ve known for years and will no doubt continue to do so.
