    Anyone else suffering?
After breaking my elbow in December I was just getting back into it only to be laid low after 3 weeks back on the bike.

Now well into week 2 of crapness and seriously eff’d off. I keep thinking ‘oh I’ll just do an easy hour on the turbo, zone 2 what’s the harm’ – no chance.

Having got the ‘Road cyclists training bible’ for Xmas the irony is :”(

Yes. Influenza is not be sniffed at…..it does sound like a bad cold. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t feel bad.

I was going to do Mt Ventoux with my brother, but he said he felt terrible after my stag and so let him off (I still made him drive to the top to meet me). A wedding and a week later he was stretchered off the plane with a broken rib and pneumonia.
