ksyrium elite s rear wheel marking

hi all just been out on brand new wheelset as above and now have what appears to be a centered thin black line on both the rims of the rear wheel only. Thought it must be brake rubber but it really doesn't want to be removed, nothing seems to touch it and it doesnt smear if i rub it really hard with a wet thumb. Any ideas people?

hi all
