Hi all
So I’m planning a ride from the UK to Paris with 2 mates over the August bank holiday weekend and getting there is easy enough, however, I’m struggling to get home in a reasonable time.
Eurostar don’t seem to guarantee that the bikes will arrive in London at the same time as we will – we’re in S Wales so can’t hang around London waiting for the bikes to arrive. I can do TGV to Calais and then ferry across and train home, but that does take a while and we have to get from Calais Frethun to the port.
I was just wondering if anybody has done this and what their experiences were? I’ve just discovered Bike Express ([url]www.bike-express.co.uk[/url]) which seems like it could be a solution, but any other suggestions would be gratefully received.
