Garmion 510 battery life

Hi All, Im doing the Trans Pennines C2C in the summer, its going to take around 17 hrs including stops, how long will the battery last on my 510? #Is there anyway of recharging it, or extending the battery life with a "piggy back" type battery? :S And, Has anyone got experience of riding on Conti Top Contact 2`s? Tyre choice is going to be a nightmare. :? I`ll be riding my trusty 2014 Kinesis T2, with a compact.

i use one of these
i use one of these ….

stick it in a pocket then when you stop for a “cuppa” plug the garmin in 🙂
