    Hi All

I’m new to this forum and need some help identifying some bikes. Here’s number 1 with plenty to follow.

The were all used in the upcoming Lance Armstong Biopic but their spec is unclear!

If you need any further info let me know but your opinions would be much appreciated

    Thank you

    Iain

    Those look something like the
Those look something like the cheapo Chinese carbon frames that used be sold as white label jobs 5-10 years ago. They used to have those distinctive ‘webs’.

I’m not sure I remember them as lugged though – thought they were monocoques.

Try someone like Guy at Pearsons. I’m pretty sure they used to sell them before they really got their own brand in to gear.

Hi Ultimatecycles. I cannot specifically identify the frame but judging by the reinforcement of the triangular webs on the bottom bracket shell and the style of the lugs – I would guess that it was built for some rough riding such as Cyclocross.

Have you had a word with Thorn Cycles ( SJS ) from Bridgewater,Somerset.

It looks a little like a Belt & Braces job that they are known for when building/specifying frame building for specific working duties.

    Don’t worry Mkultra not
Don’t worry Mkultra not asking you to help, most of the bikes are a year old with full provenance and documented history or original with identifiable frame numbers etc. There are just a few that we can’t pin down even with frame numbers. We will either confirm what they are and sell them on http://www.ultimatecycles.co.uk or sell them on ebay as unidentifiable!

I think it’s safe to say that
I think it’s safe to say that we can identify this one as a part of the two wheel variety, known internationally as a bicycle, discounting any unicycles or tricycles. 😉
