Time to replace my commuter and have spied the Tifosi Classico CK5 on sale at Fat Birds… But I’m struggling with sizing! Unfortunately I can’t get to any stockist to sit on one.
I’m 6’0″ and wear 32″ inside leg trousers. Currently commuting on a 58cm Ridgeback Flight from 2008 but my weekend ride is a Giant Defy 2014 in size M/L (geometry at http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/model/2014.giant.defy.1.black.red/11833/66132/#geometry). The L Defy was too big when I sized it up at my LBS.
I’m struggling to compare the geometry on my existing bikes to the Tifosi geometry (at http://www.chickencycles.co.uk/index.php?cat=1&sub=119&ord=2). I think I’m closer to a L in the Tifosi but the nice guys at Fat Birds recommend an XL albeit acknowledge it’s hard to tell without seeing me on one.
Any owners able to offer advice? Or failing that, anyone better able than me to interpret the geometry charts?
