Ladies Road bike for under £500

    Hi guys – I’ve been a convert to cycling for about 4 years ago and I’ve started to be asked my advice about what bikes to buy but this really stumped me a bit. One friend of mine is looking to buy a bike on the cyclescheme that we run here, spend under £500 but the difficulty is finding a small ladies frame size as she has very small legs. what’s your best recommendations?

    trek lexa is the usual,suspect, just a wee but over, but a haggle or last years model might get you under 500.

    Or just get an XS non female specific compact frame and a saddle if choice, I’m not quite convinced by the Ladies geometry.
