Chain not social (or personal) lubricant recommendations wanted please – what do you find works best?

I currently have Muc-off Dry and Wet lubricants and find that the Dry doesn’t last 5 miutes and the Wet clags everything up pvery quickly. I used to use Finish Line back in the MTB days but they don’t seem to be around as readily these days, or maybe I’m just lazy.

I’ve also ended up with a chain-ring shaped stain on my favourite jersey from the Wet Lube so top tips on how to get that off also gratefully received!

P.S. Hoping this doesn’t prove as acrimonious as the ‘which wheels’ threads!

    Dry lube: Boeshield T-9
Dry lube: Boeshield T-9 Bicycle lubricant which is waterproof (but strangely works terrible is downpours) and dries into a waxy film so doesn’t pick up lots of dirt. Developed by Boeing and is paraffin wax based. Lasts for about 100-150 miles so I reapply weekly.

Wet lube: Very wet winters here in Portland so we use Finish Line Wet Bike Lube. Have been in heavy downpours for 3+ hours and it still stays on. Needs reapplying every 100 miles or so though.

    My experiences with dry lube
My experiences with dry lube are poor. Fenwicks Stealth is ok. Ive tried loads and I keep coming back to Finish Line Wet or Halfords Own Brand Wet. Ive given up on having a shiny looking chain tbh

    I’m liking the Muc-Off
I’m liking the Muc-Off ceramic stuff at the moment:

Before that I always used Finish Line Wet, despite it gunking up a bit.
I had some of the Finish Line Dry stuff once but IMO it’s a waste of time in the UK climate.

Purple Extreme. It’s wet but doesn’t seem to attract as much crap as it’s a lower viscosity. On my MTB and Road bike.
