Yesterday I splashed out on a brand new Cannondale SuperSix EVO 6 105. This is the first time I’ve owned a carbon frame, and I’d like to avoid scratching it up as reasonably possible. Normally I’d apply some carbon stickers on bits that rub, and the chainstay, but I don’t know (and can’t readily find on line) any advice about suitable products for carbon frames, or even if that’s a special case (vs steel, Al etc.). I found this /content/review/60238-shelter-frame-protection-tape-kit and this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/lizard-skins-road-frame-protection-patches/rp-prod27639.
Can anybody tell me if this is worthwhile?
