    I learnt a lesson yesterday.
I learnt a lesson yesterday. Don’t pick your team for the next stage until the current one is over. I had Rodriguez in for today so had to incur a penalty to move him out again.

Still, it’s just bloody game as my heart goes out to him and all those guys ripped up on the road yesyerday.

    Still thinking bunch sprint
Still thinking bunch sprint today. Viviani will be after his first Giro stage win and there won’t be many better opportunities than today to get it.

Break down to under six mins, eminently reel-in-able.

Swift may not be a great pick today, apparently he fainted in the shower yesterday from the pain of his injuries:

    Break now has 8
    Break now has 8 minutes…

    Anacona (Lampre)
    Herrada (Movistar)
    Boem (Bardiani)
    Chalapud (Colombia)
    Thurau (Europcar)

Actually, they’re now saying its Haas in the break and not Herrada…

Not seen the results of the first KOM yet, but I think they went clear before the summit.

Probably making 7 transfers tomorrow which will be 40 pens :S

Swift has a sore bum so he may still do all right. Had him already so keeping him. Brought in Bouhanni and Ferrari. Already got Chicchi. Matthews might want to stay in pink another day and the other sprinters are battling for the red jersey, Bouhanni only needs to gain 4 points on Viviani to get it. Doubt if a break will go today, next week more likely. Still got enough transfers for tomorrow. Might need to take 1 pen to have 8 climbers.

Found this in a stage 7 preview for the Swifty fans.

Update: Swift and Hagen both hit the ground hard today, but they both seem okay. Sky will decide on the road who will contest the sprint.
