Giro D’Italia Stage 1 – TTT

Yeah, it's two days away. So what? I'm excited! 8> :D Anyone any thoughts on team selection? I've strong track record in ballsing up TTTs; not sure whether to just basically pick a team for stages two and three and just take whatever I get from stage one as a bonus (also banking plenty of transfers), or to play the stage for real with two fellas each from teams I'm expecting to make top five, then take the hit on penalty points to get a viable sprint posse. I'd booked Friday off work ages ago, but didn't realise/check that it was a TTT - my least favourite of all the disciplines to watch. #o

Eyes on the first 4 stages
Eyes on the first 4 stages here. Think Orica and BMC will be top 2 in the TTT so have 2 each of those.

Depending on which team is top, I will almost certainly swap out 2 tomorrow for Bouhanni and Chicchi.

I’ve never done well in the
I’ve never done well in the giro. Have been top 100 in last 2 grand tours so would be happy with that again! Looking forward to seeing everyone’s purist teams, I suspect the same two names, but a lot of variation other than that…

Well I finished 26th overall last year and 2nd in fs league to Jonas with my std I think ,so I’m hoping I can go one better this year…..bring on a nightmare tour for me now lol
