Best Gel Bib Shorts

I,m about the take delivery of my new Focus bike and plan to do some 50-80 mile rides but all the bib shorts i have are ebay cheap buys. What gel bib shorts would you guys/gals recommend with a budget of £50 ? I,m looking at gel filled rather than foam as i,m told they are better and last longer. Thanks for reading.

Couldn’t agree more with Mr
Couldn’t agree more with Mr Mudshark; Wiggle’s Aeron Race shorts are brilliant for about your sort of money. Mine are a year old, fit my lithe torso beautifully, wash well and are very comfortable for century rides. When they finally wear out I shall buy more of the same.

I don’t recommend gel at all! Well my Lusso ones started off comfortable but the pad is now very flat. Best shorts I have at around your price are Giordana Tenax and Castelli Duo but you might be best looking at DHB e.g. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-aeron-race-cycling-short/
