Evaluating how much a second hand bike is worth

Apologies if this is in the wrong place ( I am new here )!. I have a Dawes Super Galaxy 2011 that was recently renovated with new rear and front cassette and chain and am going to replace this with a Cube Peloton Race 2014. Problem is that I have no idea how to price a bike when selling it. For all i know it could be worthless! If anyone could provide some advice because I tried looking for similar items and didnt find any so cannot use their price as a guide. Thanks for any help in advance. Matt

From past observations, the new parts on a used bike appear to have negligible effect on the selling price, so while it may help sell it, I wouldn’t expect to recoup those expenses.
