I thought it a good idea to have a thread on tips and tricks to help some some of your hard earned.
For a starter I needed to replace my split pins for my avid brakes.
A quick look online, and the price for 2 alloy pins was £3-4 + delivery, which I thought was a bit of a rip off to be honest, so off to amazon and I found a pack of 50 for £4.99 delivered and these arnt alloy either these are A2 stainless steel.
Similarly, bottle cage bolts can be around £4-5 for a pack of 2, or a pack of 50 from screwfix for £3.39
