Snap, albeit haven’t used mine yet, need to dig out my old USB charger from the back of the cupboard to charge it first.

Also got a pair of Sealskinz gloves.

I’m not normally allowed cycling stuff for birthday or Christmas as there is a steady stream of kit coming in to my wardrobe year round but after finding a hole in my DeFeet merino socks the mother-in-law treated me to some of Vulpine’s long merino socks – so soft and warm, looking forward to getting out in them again tomorrow in the sub-zero temperatures 😀

My wife bought me a cracking “Life Cycle” tee from Not On The High Street and and a Specialized under saddle bag but it was massive and I already have a proper one so that went back.

TBF she’s crap and buying me anything so usually gets me nothing!

    My constant hints and
My constant hints and ostentatious visits to the Prendas website worked as my great wife got me a La Vie Claire LS jersey as well as a painting done by a local artist of Mark Cavendish in action. Also a few wee cycle themed bits and pieces including some carbolic soap that is supposedly for getting the grease off cyclists hands and has to be stored in a plastic bag due to smelling out the bathroom!
In fact she has been telling her friends at work that one of the benefits of being married to a cyclist is that Christmas and birthday gift buying is easy!
