900-1000 is in the ball park, I can’t remember off hand, but you’ll see when it opens up 😀Nix
Could someone please give me
Could someone please give me an indication about how many points a “manager” needs to get to win the TDU comp – based on past experience. There is a winners’ thread – but it doesn’t have scores listed for TDU winners. Stage winning managers do have their scores listed for later comps but not TDU. Also I can’t just add the stages together because the same manager doesn’t win every stage.
My guess is about 900 points will get a Fantasy Manager up with the leaders for TDU overall. Is this close?

stumps wrote:Have you managed to sort out premium membership for this year ?Ho! Ho! Ho! 🙂 No Christmas present yet, no… but today is Three King’s Day, which was, at least until recently, the day when children in Latin America and Spain got their Christmas presents, so I know what I wished for as a present… If I don’t get it now, I’ll try and save my pennies for the Giro. Can’t wait to see if there’s been a change in the transfer rules, though… 166 hours and 30 minutes to go 🙂

I chose Green for Flat, Bunch Sprint Stage Results, Blue for “Medium Mountain”, Red for Mountaintop Finish and Grey for “Gray Area” – in this case a hilly stage that was a little unpredictable… Totally arbitrary color scheme really… I just like to look at it later and get a feel for what kind of stages people scored highly in…

Thanks enrique,

Thanks enrique,
And the colour coding – green, blue, red, grey – does that correlate to stage terrain classification, or size of leading bunch, or something else?

Nix, this is probably information overload, but! 🙂 Here goes! Below is a table of just (!) the Top 20 in terms of Finish Line points. Whatever points any riders have above this is probably due to GC, Points, KOM, or Young Rider Jersey Classsification points, Combativity Awards, Intermediate sprint or KOM points, or just being the last man in… 😀 I know… Too much! 🙂

Thanks for response again
Thanks for response again enrique. No matter where TJ’s points come from (and he was young 24 I think), there was no big balloon point bonus for winning GC at end of comp.Gkam84: I understand things might change, but we will only have a little over a week to understand the game and research all the riders before TDU S1. That’s a big ask for new players. So I am trying to sort out as many things as possible now.

So maybe he got 7 pts for 14th + 10 for GC “leader”, are his other points for intermediate sprints placings…?I think his other points may have come from leading the Young Rider Classification (5 pts) and being No. 3 in the Points Classification (3 pts)…

Nix, it will all become
Nix, it will all become clearer when the 2014 game it open, there is no point looking at the 2013, because things may have been changed 😉 -
