Look, perhaps more known for its sleek racing bikes, also makes kit. This Pro Team SS (which stands for short sleeve) jersey sits towards the 'affordable' end of the range. It's perfectly decent, if rather basic.

The jersey is made from a single, 100% polyester material, with stitched seams. It is a breathable, but not super-breathable material. It has a high-quality YKK full-length zip with three good-sized pockets on the rear, though there is no zipped pocket for keys or valuables. There's a silicone gripper band around the hem at the waist to keep the jersey in place. The hems at the arms are finished with elasticated fabric.

Look bill this jersey as 'easy fit', making it 'perfect for larger sizes'. It's certainly not a racing snake cut, but the medium we tested still felt pretty snug. Not quite as tight as some of the dedicated racing jerseys I own, but tight enough. It's available in sizes from XS to XXXL. In terms of sizing, it's on a par with most non-Italian brands, and pretty similar to an Endura FS260. As always, try before you buy.

In terms of styling, this jersey is not subtle; it's pretty obvious who it's made by. I'm more of an understated jersey kind of guy, and so this one's not to my personal taste. It's also available in white and green, and black and white colourways.

In all, Look's Pro Team SS jersey is a decent, basic jersey, where the branding is the biggest feature. It works well, in a no-nonsense way, and its styling will likely be what sways you to buy it, or not.

It's quite expensive for what is a pretty basic jersey.

Nothing stood out.

Tell us what you particularly disliked about the product

Functionally, I would have liked a zipped pocket. Aesthetically, it's not for me.

Did you enjoy using the product? I didn't dislike using it.

Would you consider buying the product? No, but mostly because of how it looks.

Would you recommend the product to a friend? Probably not.

Anything further to say about the product in conclusion?

The Look Pro Team SS jersey is a perfectly decent basic jersey. As such, it's a bit overpriced at RRP, but could be a good buy if you can find it reduced and you like the graphic design.
