Planet X RT 57

Hi does anyone know if you can put 25c tyres on a planet x rt 57. The website says you can but the clearance doesn't look very big at the rear of the frame between the brake calliper.

What I would say though, is that if there are going to be clearance issues it’s more likely to be at the chain stays not the seat stays.

Oops, just realised mine was an RT58, not 57.

Yes, I ran both GP4000 and 4 Seasons on mine no problem.

Thanks for your reply mate , but it's a different frame geometry all together.

I don't know if this helps but I have a carbon RT 58 and it can take a 28mm tyre (Michelin pro 4). It's close clearance but I have ridden a few thousand km with these tyres over some pretty sketchy road surfaces in the Surrey Hills and I have yet to experience anything getting jammed in the gap between frame/fork and tyre.
