New SRAM Groupset(s) coming?
I've been in the market for a new groupset recently and having weighed up price, weight, shifting, ergos etc had settled on SRAM rival.
However, going to buy the set, it seems most/all shops are ratehr low on stock and bits, and at Merlin Cycles Rival is marked as "Discontinued November 2016".
Any ideas if this (and the generally lower-than-usual SRAM prices) means we're in for a new round of SRAM groupsets, or am I just being paranoid? It has been 3 years since Rival was last refreshed...

Sram still list Rival.... perhaps Merlin are discontinuing it....or maybe the UK distro is dropping it in favour of Rival 1?.... wait for any announcements..... Sram now are pushing the choice of 1x or 2x for chainrings... hence Force /Force 1 ... Rival/ Rival 1.... same for Apex too
Could also be a new supply thing as Sram closed their chinese factory at the end of last year....
Sounds like the time to look for a bargain then
