Best Strava segment name

So I was cruising past Old Trafford just singing/humming/mumbling to myself a classic Smith track Reel Around the Fountain:

Then I realized this should be a name for a great Strava segment. Very appropriate for Manchester. But where would the fountain be to set a lap around? Sadly there isn’t one. This is a great segment name without a route.

I’ve seen most people are not very original or distinctive with their segment names, and he who creates chooses the name. Most are Road A to Road B, or Loop around town X. What are some of the best segment names you have found or created?

My best so far: An Irksome Climb, (pun intended)

Three was one I kept seeing come up ‘don’t stop for a chinese’ and it took me ages to find the one they meant. It was a huge buffet place on the roundabout before the hill I thought it was on.

‘Terrier dodge’ in Swindon, that little b**ger is quite nippy and jumps fairly high for small dog, naturally the speeds through that segment show rapid sprinting about half way through…

    ‘Supermarket sweep’ on my way
‘Supermarket sweep’ on my way to work takes in all of the aforementioned establishments within the Penzance area within a mile sprint. I also like ‘coombe of doombe’ and a local climb with a detached mansion overlooking the surroundings called ‘col’d eagle’s nest’

    “Baws Oot”, “Bigger Baws oot”

“Baws Oot”, “Bigger Baws oot” and a particular favourite name, “Yes. That horse will still have the bigger willy no matter how many KOM’s you get ;)”. Maybe a tad sexist? All based unsurprisingly in Scotland (Ayrshire, home of Burns the poet).

Well, I named that segment, and the reference relates to a horse name from ‘The Day Today’. Because once I was out riding there and the going was described as ‘moist to tricky’ by a riding buddy, as we rode past some horses. Obscure enough for you? 😉
