As the gravel race scene grows, Pro is bringing out a new lightweight Discover carbon handlebar to appeal to weight weenies.

“The light but robust carbon layup provides strength and comfort compliance in different areas,” says Pro.

“The bar comes with a 20° flared option for additional stability off-road and the ergonomically shaped top section comes with a midsection designed to complement the Shimano GRX sub brake lever [a supplementary lever that attaches to the top of the bar) plus a 5° backsweep to take weight off the hands, making for a more comfortable ride.”

The Discover carbon handlebar comes with a 75mm reach and a 110mm drop and is available in widths of 40cm, 42cm and 44cm, with weights from 230g.

A new alloy Discover seatpost for gravel bikes and mountain bikes joins the range of dropper posts introduced by Pro last year. It has 70mm of travel and internal cable routing.

The seatpost comes in a 27.2mm diameter with a 350mm long body and no setback (the centre of the clamp lines up with the centre of the post). It has a claimed weight of 417g.

The post can be operated by a new drop handlebar Discover Dropbar DSP Remote (”DSP” being short for “dropper seat post”, of course) or by the Shimano GRX STI lever.

The Discover Dropbar DSP Remote has two-way operation for the thumb or index finger and is compatible with all Pro dropper seatposts.

A new lightweight Discover carbon seatpost also makes its debut.

“Featuring Dyneema, the world’s strongest fibre, it is able to withstand the rigours of demanding gravel racing,” says Pro.

It is available with 20mm setback in 27.2mm and 31.6mm diameters. The 27.2mm version has a claimed weight of 216g.
