One of the things I’d like to try is reversed priority at pedestrian crossings. Green man by default; cars and bikes have to press the button and wait.
I believe lights which are default green for bikes (and maybe pedestrians) are quite common in some places. There’s another interesting idea here (although this is probably in the “gadget” category for me…)
On the “eco” front I’ve heard of lighting which only operates when needed.
