American hand made bottle cage manufacturer King Cage has come up with the perfect accessory for the saddle-mounted hip flask already in its range – a bicycle bell that doubles as a shotglass.

Costing $40, the BarBell is made from titanium – as are some of its bottle cages – and is made in Durango, Colorado by Ron Andrews.

The metal cyclinder sounds as a bell when struck, but twists off easily to perform its shotglass function when required.

It might not be something you’d going to use on a sportive or your commute, but it could be perfect for a refreshing pitstop on a leisure ride such as the Tweed Run or – why not? – to give a spot of midnight warmth on the Dunwich Dynamo.

In moderation, of course.
