There was cause for celebration in the ranks of the Kuota-road.cc team ahead of Tuesday’s opening Tour Series round as Dan Davies sprinted away from the bunch to take a fine win at Mallory Park circuit on Thursday.

After some nice teamwork at Mallory Park, Dan attacked in the closing stages and rode the last 2 miles on his own to take the win ahead of the chasing group which also featured a big Kuota-road.cc contingent.

After a slow start to the season, Jeroen Janssen showed his form is returning to take 3rd place and Jon Mozley rode the last 2 laps on a softening tyre to take 5th. 18-year-old Mat Bailey, after a very good race for the team, took 6th while Jefte de Bruin, who had worked hard throughout the race for the team, ended up finishing in the bunch.
