I’ve got an Elite Turbo Muin thats always been faultess, until now. Its developed a load knocking sound when the flywheel is turning, making it sound like somethings obstructing it internally. Furthermore, the resistance has dropped right off.

I’ve contacted Elite with a video of the issue, who have been their typically useless selves and failed to respond even though its been a week.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and whether its fixable or curtains?

    Video is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SsdYflfg87niSI8pFYwZZhmOucL_Kv49/view?usp=sharing

Cheers Phil. Did you get to the bottom of this? I’ve always had the ‘splashy’ noise until its warmed up but never the knocking, with the addition that hte resistance seems to have dropped off. Will try adjusting the belt and see what difference it makes. Is yours still working?

Sorry about this and sorry I missed that you had sent the video!

Mines still working fine about 5-600 miles in. I have the splash until it warms up but no knocking yet. Remember if adjusting the belt you need to loosen the bolt on the side first before the one on top. Can’t remember the exact torq for the belt though, sorry

Thanks for the helpful reply. Chose not to take it apart until hearing from Elite, since thats a failry easy way of voiding any type of warrenty. As for the ‘hub’ thats part of the turbo and the flywheel.

Another shining example of why forums are dying as a source of useful information.
