Time NXR sizing

I'm interested in the Time NXR, frame only, to replace my SL6 Tarmac, which although wonderful is rather 'racy' and getting a bit low for my ageing body. The Tarmac has a stack of 544 and reach of 384, for size 54; but I'm not sure what NXR size to go for? The obvious one is a M, which gives a higher stack, but the TT on that is really long (although reach seems fine - go figure). Alternatively, I could just get a Defy frame... Any thoughts?
