The big bad shop is having a big sale again, and there are plenty of deals for cyclists. From terrific inner tube deals, to computers, clothing, lights, and a few things in between, here’s the best of what we’ve spotted so far for Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Day event running between 6-7 October.
You do need to have an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of these deals, but you can always just sign up for the free 30-day trial being offered right now, and then cancel it when you’ve bought the things you want. We won’t tell if you won’t…
Onwards to the deals!
Continental Race inner tubes for 25-32mm road tyres are down to just £20.49 for a set of 5
These tubes strike a decent balance between low weight and durability, and it’s rare you see them down to £4 a tube – with this offer you can stock up and save 16% over the RRP.
With 60mm valves and suitable for 700c tyres between 25-32mm wide, they will suit most roadies and work with all but the proper racy rim depths. Conti tubes also have removable cores, so you can always use them with valve extenders if you have deeper wheels.

Want to go even lighter? Try a pair of TPU tubes for just £18.69, down from £19.99
It’s not a magnificent saving we admit, but a couple of road.cc staffers have given these budget TPU tubes a go and reported no issues so far – options from leading brands can cost at least double.
These tubes weigh just 45g each, which slashes a lot of weight off your bike versus using standard butyl tubes. They’re designed to work with tyres from 223-32mm in width, covering pretty much all tyre sizes for road riders.

Yep, that’s nearly half price as this pack will usually set you back a tenner. Best stock up, but in packs of six not the packs of 15… although you can get 30 for £24.69, which is slightly cheaper still per gel if you’re after that many.

Wahoo Elemnt Bolt V3 drops to £253.99, saving you 15%
Wahoo’s latest update to the Elemnt Bolt hasn’t dropped far under its £299.99 RRP since it launched last year, but this 15% saving might just be the best we’ve seen in the UK.
Now with more battery life, a bigger screen and the intuitive layout we’ve all come to expect from Wahoo’s excellent GPS computers, you can now bag this computer as used on the pro tour for less.

If you like a bigger screen and more mapping capabilities for adventures off the beaten track, Wahoo’s Elemnt Roam is hard to beat. We said as much in our review earlier this year, saying that it’s “tough, bright, quick charging, long-lasting and easy to set up with plenty of features.”
Usually this computer is £399.99, but you can save yourself nearly £70 with this limited-time deal.

Looking for a much cheaper bike computer? Try the CYCPLUS G1,down to a silly £23.41
It was already one of the cheapest GPS computers we’ve ever seen, and now with this Prime Big Deal Day offer, you’d struggle to get a pack of mince and a jar of coffee for less. Some things are immune to relentless inflation, it seems!
Yep, for a little over 20 quid, you can get a whole GPS cycling computer – albeit very basic, but if you just want speed, distance and time, this little unit could serve you very well indeed. It also has a runtime of 55 hours, an automatic backlight, and weighs just 70g.

Cateye’s AMPP VIZ Rechargeable light combo is down to £35.49, saving you 35%
Ready for winter, or more specifically how dark it gets any time past around 4pm when you need to cycle somewhere after the clocks have gone back? If not fear not, because you can get this set of high quality beams from Cateye for just over 35 quid so you can be seen at night.
At 400 lumens, the front beam is very much a ‘be seen’ light, but it’s plenty bright enough for most urban riding. 100 lumens for a rear light is very bright indeed, so hopefully even the doziest drivers will notice you.
Charging is via USB-C and mounting is tool-free and universal.

Kryptonite’s New York Standard lock is down to £64.89, its lowest price on the web
It’s difficult to put a price on security for your bike that might have cost you thousands, but this highly-rated lock from Kryptonite should repel most thieves for a decent amount of time for not a huge amount of cash – in fact this lock was over £100 originally.
The New York Standard has a Sold Secure Gold rating, meaning it should withstand bolt croppers and can put up a fight against an angle grinder for a short amount of time – a decent deterrent, but not impenetrable of course. You also get a flexible frame bracket included, so you can mount it on your bike when not in use for easy access when you arrive at the place you want to lock your bike.

Get 10 T-handle Draper Allen keys with a mounting stand for just £10.99
We’d all prefer some Silca tools of course, but this set from Draper is difficult to beat if you want some hard-wearing hex keys for your workshop.
The sizes go from 2mm to 10mm, covering off most sizes you will need for tightening bolts on your bike, and for getting your disc brake wheel on and off. T-handle style keys offer much better leverage for annoyingly tight bolts, too.
