Released in 2023, Mondraker’s Dusty came as quite a deviation from the brand’s mountain bike roots – though its first ever gravel bike was every bit as ‘Mondraker’ as you would expect. Back then, it donned a Mahle hub-drive motor and was very much a nod to the brand’s MTB history. But for 2026, the e-gravel bike has received a bit of a change of direction, becoming more of an all-rounder, and now it uses a TQ HPR60 motor.
Stating that the gravel bike is all grown up now, the Dusty has become more sensible with age. Rather than pushing gravel boundaries, the latest incarnation of the Dusty is shaped to be an all-rounder, so it’s primed for the daily commute, everyday mobility and multi-day epics, as well as pure gravel.
As expected from Mondraker, the bike is built around a Stealth Air Carbon frame and fork, but it rocks a different motor than before. Now it employs TQ power in the form of the more potent HPR60 motor, offering up 60Nm of torque and up to 350W of power. That’s combined with a 580Wh battery with the option of boosting overall capacity thanks to the 160Wh range extender. But if lightweight is what you’re all about, there’s an S model that’s equipped with TQ’s lighter 360Wh battery… That Dusty S comes with a flat handlebar and a dropper post, too.
That Stealth Air Carbon frame isn’t just an off-the-shelf frame either. It’s been developed from the ground up to achieve the goals that Mondraker has set out. Those are strength, stiffness, and vertical compliance. But the brand has shaved grams where they’re not needed, claiming that an M/L sized frame weighs 1,710g. Throw the carbon fork into the mix, and that bumps the weight up by 490g.
The Dusty’s cable routing is fully internal thanks to the Hidden Housing Guide system, and the frame is primed to be kitted with fenders, in case you’re looking for a touch of mud protection. Additionally, there’s space for 50mm tyres and the bike is shaped with the same axle-to-crown measurement as a 40mm suspension fork when it’s at sag, so yes, you can run a suspension fork if you fancy.
As a brand that pioneered modern mountain bike geometry with its Forward Geometry concept, the original Dusty was pretty lengthy for a gravel bike. But this time around, the brand has brought things back to earth with a medium frame donning a 384mm reach. Elsewhere, it gets a 74-degree seat tube angle, a 70-degree head tube angle, and a 433mm chainstay. There are then five sizes available, from S to XL, including an M/L size.
