Liv has unveiled its latest e-bikes with the launch of the Allure E+, a commuting model with built-in radar and tyre pressure checker.
The release follows Giant, who also own Liv, a few weeks ago also releasing its new Explore E+ with much of the same safety and tech additions here — notably the pressure sensors and security additions.
Liv says the aim of the three new Allure E+ 0, Allure E+ 1 and Allure E+ 2 models is to “make urban riding feel more approachable, predictable and safe”. At the heart of this are the security features which will be available on all three models, namely digital lock functionality and location tracking.
The latest Aegis Safety Technology suite is compatible with the E+ 1 and E+ 2, meaning E+ 1 users have a built-in radar and tyre pressure checker, while E+ 2 users have the tyre pressure system too. The radar is designed to work like other radar products we’ve seen populate the bike industry in recent years, alerting riders of approaching drivers with visual and audio cues.
On the tyre pressure models, users can see real-time pressure monitoring, while the E-Lock and Apple Find My functionality are now included as standard.
The motor is a new SyncDrive Sport 2 model, with 75NM of torque and removable EnergyPak Smart 430Wh battery. There is also an optional range extender of 200Wh for longer rides and Liv says the battery’s integration means a “sleek look and convenient recharging”.

The new models will be available at selected retailers and online from today.
