It's got to be winter; a couple of inches of snow and studded tyres
The perfect autumn morning... Fresh glow of the sun bringing alive the colours of the leaves, with not a cloud in the sky and the most delightfully refreshing breeze. EPIC!!!
without doubt summer. riding every day in the sun on quiet roads ..... or so I dream
Crisp sunny winter day
i like cycling best when i'm (whispers) on the sick!
Spring! It's not too hot, not too cold.
Spring. After the months of darkness and cold, you finally start wearing lighter clothing. And I love the day a take the fixed lights off the bike
Full-on winter: no more guesswork about how many layers to wear, just pile them all on. And not so many people on my commute.
Spring for me, crisp mornings best before things warm up too much. Can't ride in the evening, too full.
The start of spring. So much to enjoy about the slightly warmer weather, and noticing the things on a bike you'd never spot in a car or bus. Awesome.
Late winter / early spring. Whilst it is still cold, but when you can ride without fear of rain.
Summertime and the livin' is easy...
Autumn
Winter commuting, 50km a day of wind, rain and battling cars, potholes and hills. Love it!!!!
definitely count me in... I'm a big fan of cool autumn mornings (and of vulpine kit)
Cold dry winter mornings are hard to beat.
Winter - Sunday morning. Leave at sunrise, frost on trees and roads deserted. Foggy breath on hills, hot coffee and bacon roll stop. Back for shower and Sunday lunch. Perfect.
Love Vulpine

Winter
Wrapped up with not a square inch of skin showing. Cold, crisp, clear mornings, rime on the grass beside the road and the low winter sun at your back. The shared sense of achievement with your clubmates of having braved the freezing weather. Knowing that while you may not have covered the most miles that morning, the miles you've done have been for the love of the ride, not of the temperature.
Winter in Northern France, cold, wet, muddy, joy!
Early morning at the end of summer. First bit of mist in the valleys. Trees just starting to change colour.
Spring. Evenings getting lighter and warmer, the promise of summer around the corner and all lovely smells of fresh, spring growth.
Sunny summer days are great, obviously, but something's about a crisp frosty morning when everything's got a white touch to it...lovely
Much as I love sunny Summer rides, I'd have to say Spring is my favourite time of year on the bike.
Early summer mornings.
The season of hope, of lightweight tyres, of no mudguards, of redundant lights and of dry lube. Spring!
Autumn is by far the best. never too hot rarely too cold, best fitness levels of the year and the chance to find blackberrys, mushrooms, chestnuts…
Spring, and the first annual exposure of the knees to sunlight!
Spring, the cool mornings with a hint of dew and freshness in the air. Followed by the knowledge that a whole summer of riding is about to come into existence.
