It's that time again when summer is over, the nights are getting shorter and we all need a bit of a boost to get out and keep riding... well for some very lucky readers hopefully this fantastic competition from The Rider Firm will help, with the chance for road.cc readers to win one of three HUNT prizes worth a total of £1,373! 

The first prize is a pair of HUNT 50 Carbon Aero Disc wheels worth £879 and a HUNT casual tee worth £20. The second prize is a pair of their MASON x HUNT 4 Season Disc wheels worth £379 and a HUNT casual T-shirt worth £20. The third prize is a HUNT Race Season padded double wheel bag worth £45, two HUNT 600ML water bottles worth £10 each and yes, you guessed it, a HUNT casual T-Shirt worth £20!

So without further ado, let's take a look at each of these prizes...

The first place prize is a set of HUNT 50 Carbon Aero Disc wheels, as ridden by team Qhubeka-NextHash most recently at the Tour of Britain and the Vuelta a Espana. We haven't had the chance to test these yet, so we'll leave it to Hunt to tell you about them:

The second prize is a set of the fantastic MASON x HUNT 4 Season Disc Wheels and a Hunt Casual T-shirt. We have tested these wheels back in 2020 and really liked them, with Mike awarding a prestigious 9/10 score. 

Here are a couple of his comments:

The MASON x HUNT 4 Season Disc Wheels have lightweight tubeless-ready asymmetric rims for durability, are 26mm deep with a 19mm internal width suitable for tyres from 23mm all the way to 45mm. The hubs are HUNT 4Season J-bend spoke hubs with centre-lock and are compatible with all 8-12Spd freehubs. Axles are easy to change and fit: Front - QR, Bolt thru 12/15/9mm, Rear - QR, Bolt thru 12x142, 12x135, 10x135.
