Has any of the forum had issues with freehubs wearing/becoming “bite” damaged on Hunt wheels? I bought some Mason/Hunt 4 Seasons disc in October last year, and have ridden 1700 miles since. I developed an annoying creak, which I eventually found was the cassette on the freehub. Hunt seem to think that I should replace it @£30. “Unfortunately, the freehub body comes under the same bracket as bearings and the frequency of its replacement is largely due to post-purchase maintenance, meaning they are not included in the warranty.” Do you think this is reasonable? My Fulcrum 7 freehub looks like new after 10,000 miles.
