Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes…

I just don’t remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it’s irresponsible.

‘A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.

“It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment.” ‘

Well, I am astounded by this

Well, I am astounded by this – a week later the police haven’t managed to trace the driver, I mean what with cars having registration plates and drivers being licensed and all – it’s as though these are not all they’re frequently cracked-up to be.

I just read some more about

I just read some more about that one.

The bloke has had his initial day in court.  Allegedly, his partner has told the police that he was suffering headaches and blacked out the day before.

So obviously you’d then go off to drive around without any insurance etc…

    Laverstock Road car crash

Laverstock Road car crash ‘destroyed’ steel post

“It was actually two lamp posts, a brand new galvanised one by the bridge and an older concrete one further down at the end of Cow Lane, as well as an illuminated road sign.

“The concrete lamp post was reduced to rubble and the steel one destroyed beyond recognition.”

Police are appealing for witnesses and want to know if anyone knows the whereabouts of the two men.

And what with cars being registered and drivers insured, I’m sure the police will be able to find the occupants quickly and the council can charge the insurer the reinstatement costs of the damaged streetlamps.

    The owners only have

The owners only have themselves to blame – it’s called a “DRIVEway” so why on earth have they parked their car on it? Honestly, people need to take a bit of responsibility for their own stuff and not just leave it lying around.

    Police search for five men

Police search for five men after Peugeot crashes into Jeep in a driveway in Oakfield Lane

Another instance where we can be assured that as the police have got the car it won’t take long to find the occupants, who will of course be fully insured and licenced and not remotely uninsured or unlicensed…
