You said you have all the gear and are looking for a helmet with a budget of £50 well when i first started cycling i was the same, didn’t want to spend a lot on a helmet but luckily 6 months ago i bought a Kask mojito £120 , now i know this is not in your budget but 4 weeks ago i went over the handlebars at 30 mph and landed on my head and that helmet saved my life no question of a doubt.
Get yourself the best helmet you can afford and Kask do a 50% replacement so i am getting a new one for £60
Phil is right.Buy the best you can because the time does come then you need it and you will be pleased you bought a good one trust me.I suffered a brain injury 10 years ago and take seizures every 3 months as a result. Can’t drive /work nothing. It’s a bitch and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.I still cycle but keep ending up in hospital after fitting while out on the bike.Like I say buy a good Helmet please it don’t matter what you look like you will look worse in a seizure maybe dead.Bones heal brains don’tPhil A

I had to get a new helmet myself after leaving mine on the train, so I did this deal.
It’s light and comfy – possible downside is it could get cold throw the vents in the winter.Cheers
