    Who’ve ya got for the safari park time trial? I’m never keen on these short flat ones; you don’t know when a versatile sprinter or former trackie might pull out the stops. Also I only had two transfers from my highly non-TT team from the last stage.

    I’m going to be leaving in twenty mins as I’ll be marshalling at the stage today (influencing events from the inside, y’see 😉 ) so here are my boys:

    Ciolek
    Haussler
    Rojas
    Wiggins
    Von Hoff
    Elmiger (on a hunch)
    S. Yates

    Well, got sent to about five
    Well, got sent to about five different places to register, to no avail. So went to look at the giraffes instead. Then spotted Nairo Quintana in his team car, which was pretty cool.

    I came by bike and gratifyingly overtook the Madison Genesis van (couldn’t really call it a bus) on the East Lancs. They pulled into the site just behind me.

    Lost Nathan Haas last night
    Lost Nathan Haas last night after I had already done my transfers. 🙁

    Took the hit, and paid a penalty, but I was wondering, if I had put back in one of the riders I had taken out earlier, would it still have cost me the 10 point penalty?

    Its only 14k so there wont be major gaps within the pro riders. Its a bit up, down and twisty so the technical tt’ers should prosper.

    Brought in Quintana, i think he might be there or thereabouts.

    Have a great day Ghedebrav! I’ve just brought in Dowsett and Elmiger, I don’t know enough about a lot of the riders to be able to pick out any other potentially good TTers. There aren’t that many to challenge Wiggo and Dowsett anyway, presumably in part due to the crossover with the World TTT.

    Will be interesting to see how Ciolek goes – he has a 30-second cushion so might be able to stay in the top six on GC with a good TT?
