ToB – pick three Britons

    drheaton has kindly agreed to run a ‘pick three…’ comp for the Tour of Britian. Submissions closed now, but rules for reference are:

    1 – Pick three riders from the startlist who are British and ensure that your three riders cost a combined 50 Space Creds or less.
    2 – Only riders finishing the race count towards your points total. If one of your riders abandons mid-race (even during the last stage) then their points won’t count towards your total.
    3 – There are no restrictions on picking more than one rider from a particular team, if you want to pick three riders from Madison-Genesis feel free.
    4 – Highest combined total wins, if one or more players get the same combined score then the winner will be chosen by a coin toss/random number generator or similar impartial method
    5 – Deadline for entries was 11am (BST) Sunday 15 September 2013.

    There are 4 possible stage
    There are 4 possible stage wins for Cav but to be honest the sprinting competition is probably better than that of La Vuelta with the likes of Viviani and Nizzolo around.

    With Cavendish the only Brit over 20 credits it gives this game an interesting flavour. It’s not about maximising your budget, it’s about picking the best combination of riders possible and you’re only going to get tight on budget if you pick Cav.

    Plus, only 8 stages so should be fewer DNFs too.
