I’m not expecting anything from stage 1, I just don’t want to make any transfers til the TT, so mailnly picking a team for stages 2 and 3.

I’ll be honest this is the hardest race of the year to date that I’ve had to pick for std wise for the 1st stage , Ithink iit’s a tougher stage than people here are expecting and tbh I don’t think gerrans will get a look in , I read it a lot like some of the Giros mm stages where some of those lumps just crippled the peleton 😕

As mentioned above, GC guys might not come to the fore until at least the TT, but if a couple of the early stages are a bit tougher than they look, then J-Rod could turn out to be a great pick – not gone for him myself tho’.

I’d second all that’s been said so far about that team…..no glaring mistakes but personally I’d have Valverde or Froome instaed of J-Rod for the first couple of stages….Valverde has the best sprint of the 40credit guys and you’ll want Froome when the ITT comes around so you could save a transfer there…..but it’s probably a question of gut feeling on those 4 right now as to how the strategy will unfold?

6 guys that could easily do nothing, but I like them and they’re good all-rounders and/or breakaway guys.
