Personally think that this could be the race of the year looking at the stages and the declared riders so far….I know some will just use it as TdF training but it should be a cracking tour…

I’m not expecting anything from stage 1, I just don’t want to make any transfers til the TT, so mailnly picking a team for stages 2 and 3.Timbo13

Are there any obvious guys that shouldn’t be in my team.

Can’t see any glaring errors in that! I have 3 of them, I only beat you by 2 points in the Giro tho’…
As mentioned above, GC guys might not come to the fore until at least the TT, but if a couple of the early stages are a bit tougher than they look, then J-Rod could turn out to be a great pick – not gone for him myself tho’.I’d second all that’s been said so far about that team…..no glaring mistakes but personally I’d have Valverde or Froome instaed of J-Rod for the first couple of stages….Valverde has the best sprint of the 40credit guys and you’ll want Froome when the ITT comes around so you could save a transfer there…..but it’s probably a question of gut feeling on those 4 right now as to how the strategy will unfold?
None from Bretagne team?

Personally Ive gone for a different 40 credit guy, but have 2 of yours at the moment. The only one who id be unsure of in that team is Barguil (can’t remember his price) but there maybe no one else more suitablechrisdstripes

Purist…
3 guys who can climb and TT, none of whom have ridden for a month.
6 guys that could easily do nothing, but I like them and they’re good all-rounders and/or breakaway guys.
Beat that! đŸ˜•Standard is ok, hoping for minimal transfers before the TT.
3 Ardennes classics types
3 guys who can get over hills and sprint from a medium-sized group
3 breakaway guys (2 of whom are in my purists) -
