    Tend to agree.

Yesterday, we couldn’t watch the race. Today, it’s neutralized. If this was any other sport….

This neutralisation seems to be lasting forever. May last even longer if there’s ice on the descent, as rumour has it.

    after long negotiations with
after long negotiations with French authorities it has been agreed that the stage will finish at the Pantani monument, 10km further up the Galibier, at an altitude of 2,295m. The Pantani monument marks the spot where Italian rider attacked in the rain to secure victory in the 1998 Tour de France.

    Still have Weening so hoping
Still have Weening so hoping he’ll be my ace in the pack today or Tues. The rest is boring and obvious…

    Pirazzi
    Nibbly
    Santambrogglio
    Evans
    DiLuca
    Weening
    Betancur
    Majic Majka
Sammy (I miss his golden helmet)

Anyone know what the latest is re the route? Last I heard was finish at the Pantani monument, miss the first KOM but still go over the Telegraphe – any change?

Italian win today at the Pantani monument methinks?

Perhaps, but a different Italian. One riding for a French team, aiming for a win on French soil: Pozzovivo. Or…a former team mate and friend of Pantani: Garzelli.

    Should be a good one.
