What are we expecting today then? I had a very sprint-biased team yesterday which obviously didn’t work out too well, so have taken a ten-point hit, but still not really much of an idea who will do well.

Brought in Westra, and Tejay, and someone I didn’t expect to go for all season – Andy Schleck – who looked fairly comfortable and interested yesterday.

Still have 4 sprinters though, so won’t be a good day – expecting to lose my 2nd place in the Forum Scorum’s league tonight! (And then take it back tomorrow with an 80-point solo win from Wauters in the Giro. Maybe.)

4 riders in the break with 5.30 on the peloton
    Chavanel
    McCartney
    Zwiwansky
    Jacques-Maynes

Best placed is Mccartney at only 16 seconds down on the GC.

MY guy Bobbie Traskel had a go at getting to the break, but is still hanging out just 1 minute up on the peloton

Oh man! Was just about to ask
Oh man! Was just about to ask if anyone had gone chavanel today. I fancied him for the break-away. He won a not too similar stage from the bunch in Paris nice, so can climb, and he lost 9 mins yesterday- plus opqs have no GC contenders- working for meersman in sprints. But wasn’t convinced he had the condition, and expensive at 26+!

Another break to be reeled in
Another break to be reeled in then the same as yesteday as they climb to the finish line. I expect the same faces in roughly the same places as well.
