No, I’m not aware of a young
No, I’m not aware of a young rider competition.

Also, there are officially two sprint jerseys, one for intermediate sprints and one for finishing positions. Only the intermediate sprint standings are being scored as this is consistent with previous runnings and also the Volta Catalunya.

    Which sprinters did you take
Which sprinters did you take a punt on? There are only two in the race Gerrans and Impey. That would’ve worked well.

Guess who got some points today. Andy Schleck scored a whole 3 points, he’s clearly on the road to recovery…

On another note, my day didn’t go well, my punt on sprinters didn’t go well and left me well behind, I should have played it safe and stuck the climbers. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow.

Yes. I noticed that. Intermediate sprint! Did think about him for purist, but got one other cheap rider who’s not even in the race now.

looked like the rainbow jersey 19th to me?

and maybe 19 for me as well if that’s right.

Agreed that it looked like Gilbert, Im just going off what the results said. Guess we shall find out soon

PCS say Clarke then Talansky but Eurosport had that pretty cool finish line camera shot so maybe its still being all ‘worked out’?

Enjoyed seeing Samu and Cunego fly downhill to almost catch the front group……I had envisaged them doing that for the actual 1-2.

PCS have updated now, Gilbert 19th, Clarke 20th

That would be handy for my purist team, but that would mean 15 non-finishers
