Good news that we will have some kind of “Palmares” page for next season!

How did everyone get on this season? My success stories were all premium tours with far less entrants, so I came top 50 in premium but only 176th overall šŸ˜•

1st Tour de Suisse (plus stage win)
    3rd Tour of Britain
    16th ENECO
    24th California
    48th Beijing

My best non-premium was 150th in the TdF, but had some shockers as well – I think most of you were a bit more consistent!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first season (both in fantasy cycling and in following the World Tour throughout the season, rather than just Grand Tours) – looking forward to the TDU!

I failed with my main aim
I failed with my main aim this year which was to win something, but I had fun along the way.

    25th Spring Classics
    12th California
    3rd Suisse
    2nd Pologne (Purist)
    11th USAPCC
    10th Eneco (Purist)
    15th Quebec & Montreal
    20th Britain

I did a lot of stage hunting in the Grand Tours, but I think my best result was only 4th (final stage of the Giro).

9th in my region (Yorks and
9th in my region (Yorks and Humber), 101st overall, 53rd premium (having sneaked up into the top 50 mid Tour of Beijing only to drop down again after not making a single transfer). Satisfied given that I started the year so badly and pretty much missed the TDU, ToO, ToQ and was making tons of stupid transfers in the TdSuisse because I was getting a bit bored.

My highlights were 23rd in the Giro and a second in the purist Vuelta. Also managed a 10th in the Tour of Britain despite forgetting to submit a team for stage 1 (actually, that could have helped). Other than those and a couple of stage wins/top 5s it’s been a pretty poor season from me, need to pull my finger out for next year.

    Ended up 255th overall –
Ended up 255th overall – disapointed with that and 120th in the premium.

I did have my first stage win so was chuffed with that but came a very disapointing 11th in the region. I had been first but a v poor classics season lost me ground which i never managed to make up.

Still its just a game and been great fun so onwards and upwards for next season šŸ˜€

    I seem to remember doing
I seem to remember doing pretty well in the TdF prologue and Stage 1, and then overall in the Olympics.

Other than that, I can’t remember and can’t work out how to look it up.

    I was solid if unspectacular,
I was solid if unspectacular, had my best chance of victory in the TDU but bottled it!

So overall I came 38th overall and 23rd in premium.

So I came 4th in the TDU (I was 1st going into stage 5, then 2nd going into the last stage, and bottled it)

    Shocking the next few races

Solid 26th in the spring classics (9th in ToF)
    21st TdS (7th on stage 4)
72nd TdP (9th on final stage)
22nd Eneco (1st on stage 4, 3rd on the final stage, 7th on stage 5)
    151st Vuelta (2nd on stage 9, 6th on stage 8)
95th ToB (2nd on last stage)
18th TJB (7th on final stage)
