Tell me about it!
I really needed Meersman and Viviani to score well on the flat yesterday but they let me down big time. Really need solid results from Marczynski and Talansky tomorrow otherwise I’m screwed and if Clarke goes and bags a load of mountain points I might as well kiss 1st place goodbye :”(
After 19 stages I can’t believe its so close and its come down to this.

Argh!
Lost another 6 points
Argh!Lost another 6 points out of my lead in the purist comp, down to 16 and getting VERY nervous about tomorrow and the possibility of Simon Clarke absolutely destroying me :”(
If you’ve never tried the purist game, try it next year, its great fun and incredibly tense, I have no idea what’s going to happen and I can’t make any changes which is absolutely killing me.

I’m not sure – he was at 1’52” yesterday. Today – 1st at the intermediate, second on the stage and 3″ ahead of Contador – not sure what that all adds up to. 17 seconds?EDIT – checked the rules 6″ + 8″ + 3″ == 17″
