Sprinters today or will the Cat3 Montjuic make it messy?

I’m thinking tough fast guys rather than the out and out flyers

    Boom(for J-Rod)
    Davis(for Froome)
    Valverde
    Degenkolb
    Meersman(for Quintana)
    Marczynski
    DeLafuente
    Cesar
    Florencio

Quite risky to take out nailed on GC/Points/Mountains guys but I think Boom may have been waiting for this sort of stage and can also TT well(stage 11) and I’ve had Meersman in mind for a tough uphill drag finish for a while.

It was a toss up between Davis and Rojas and I plumped for Davis as he’ll have more freedom and has decent form.

I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Valverde attempt to nick a few seconds either in real time or bonuses over his GC rivals as he sprints better than Froome,Contador or J-Rod especially with a rest-day after this.

    John Degenkolb’s Argos
John Degenkolb’s Argos Shimano manager said this morning that, “Today’s stage is a 50-50 for the climbers and sprinters.” Saying that, he continued to say that they would take contol of the race from the start and get Degenkolb in position for win number 4. No pressure John!
